Armijo School Pledge

I pledge to do my best
At work and play
And be a better citizen each day.

I pledge to study hard,
To treat others right,
And work to be the best I might.

I pledge respect
To teachers, staff, and friends;
Kindness is a job that never ends.

Armijo I the school to be –
A place of pride
For you and me.

The ES Associate Superintendent’s office will be handling the Principal Selection process at Armijo ES to fill the principal vacancy. The process involves several steps and the input from the staff and the parents is an important part of these steps. This input will be collected electronically using Survey Monkey. Everyone will have access to enter their input by clicking on the above links.

The window for providing input will be open from May 18-24.

Your input is valuable and is crucial to the selection process. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to participate. Questions can be sent to Jamie Bell at bell_ja@aps.edu

Thank you for your participation.

Sincerely,

K-3+ is a 25-day summer program for students at high-need schools that emphasize literacy, math, art, music, science literacy and social skills. Students who take advantage of the 25 bonus instructional days have more time to devote to studies that can greatly benefit them in the years ahead. The program’s purpose is to help narrow the achievement gap between disadvantaged students and other students. It also aims to increase cognitive skills, help improve test scores and provide summer enrichment experiences.
